🔍 ROOT:
We start by identifying key struggles—whether it’s attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, or executive functioning challenges. This is done through observations, discussions, and evaluations.
🤝 NEGOTIATE AND COLLABORATE:
Together, we develop strategies tailored to your child’s strengths and challenges. We collaborate on academic, behavioral, and emotional interventions that foster growth and confidence.
📈 MONITOR:
ADHD management is ongoing. We track progress, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across home, school, and social environments.
🎯 ADVOCATE:
Empower yourself with the knowledge to effectively communicate with teachers, schools, and healthcare professionals. Learn how to navigate 504 Plans, IEPs, and other support systems.
My first job as a young master-prepared RN showed me the way as I dealt with critically ill kids and their families.
When there is a need to intervene for a child, there is also that need to support the family. I did
this as an RN and now as a Master IEP Coach for families with kids with ADHD. This part of
my journey of the past ten years comes from my own personal experience with my youngest
son. Navigating the education system and effectively advocating for your child is intimidating
without support.
ADHD is misunderstood and invisible; a disability that carries with it many executive
functioning deficits and behaviors that many believe can be controlled by the child.
I am passionate about helping families understand unique and often misunderstood challenges of
ADHD and transferring this knowledge to effective advocacy for success and a healthy self-
esteem.
We start with a personalized consultation to understand your needs. Then, I provide tailored guidance, resources, and strategies to help you navigate challenges. Regular check-ins ensure we track progress and make necessary adjustments along the way.
We’re here to support you! Whether you have questions, need guidance, or want to schedule a consultation, let’s connect and find the best way forward together
