About Karen

Before getting married and having kids, I was a master prepared pediatric nurse. My focus was not only the child but the family.

The therapeutic relationships developed with patients and families served me well as I later changed my focus and became a certified ADHD coach for children and teens. The actual motivating factors involved my own personal journey with my youngest son with ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia.

I saw how school was tough and sometimes not responsive to the needs of a child with ADHD. ADHD is a very complicated disorder. I knew that there were so many of these kids falling through cracks who needed support.

I am now currently part of the Master IEP Network. I empower families to be the best advocates they can be for their child. I facilitate positive interactions within the IEP meetings for best outcomes for the child and family.
